We're very proud of our cafe, and we've packed it with great coffee and food. Whether you're in for a quick takeaway or want to soak up the vibe inside, you're going to be in for a treat. 

Changing seasonally our menu is stacked full of hearty favourites such as jackets,  sandwiches, toasties… all kinds of tastiness. All are freshly prepared and sourced as locally as possible.

Coffee from artisan coffee roasters, Roost. Based in Malton, North Yorkshire they produce THE best coffee and we love it. Don’t just take our word for it though, check out our comments and feedback with plenty of happy customers backing up our theory.

Our comprehensive menu carefully considers a range of options to satisfy most tastes and dietary requirements. We also ensure that young appetites have healthy and appealing choices. All our meals are homemade from fresh ingredients sourced from local providers and suppliers. Don’t forget to try one of our fabulous cakes made on-site by our Queens of Tarts. It's worth cycling up Buttertubs for.

With a keen eye on trying to keep our customers healthy, we are proud to have been awarded a "Gold Award For Healthier Choices" by the North Yorkshire Council. 

The Firebox Cafe is the perfect location for a pit stop and refuel.  Our shared site with the Yorkshire Dales National Park boasts easy access via a large carpark.
